Gates of Paris (film)

Porte des Lilas English Gate of Lilacs is a 1957 FrenchItalian dramatic film directed by Ren Clair, based on Ren Fallets novel La Grande Ceinture. This film is also known by the title The Gates of Paris in the United States.

The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and a BAFTA Award in 1958 and won the Bodil Award for Best European Film.
